Episode 8- Don't Despair Resist!
As I woke this morning to the constant reminder of the threat that looms upon our democracy and society. Instead of giving into despair and my valid fears, I am inspired to resist. To never legitimize the fraudulent elect. To never give Cheeto Musollini the accolades he craved. To ignore those who seek more divisions in an already divided nation. As I said in my cast below this divide and conquer strategy sadly worked on us. Now those of us who know how bad this Regime will be must come together. No more fighting each other or finger pointing, NO we must RESIST! And we must take on untruths, from corporate ran media and government. We can fight this, we have the power to, but we must be willing to use that power. If you are with me welcome to the United States of Resistance!

The Social Aware Nightmare Cast Episode 7: Chess Pieces
It is time to be real frank about the outcome of this election. About the true winner, and what we all will end up losing by our collective ignorance. The fact that hate has won and will infect our government was bad enough. But we slept collectively while a foreign influence infected our democracy as well. Please tune in and understand just how badly things are about to get:

To those asking for Unity after this election...
I wanted to start this off by saying
just how tired I am today.
I know I am not the only one, you could
see it all day, faces
of shock and dejection. The reality of
this outcome setting in.
But outside of tired I feel angry,
literally spitting fire mad at
this country right now. Not just at the
bigots who like roaches
came out to support a unequivocally
unfit person to be our
President elect. But to all those who
were sneaky about
supporting him. To those who smiled in
my face in my
neighborhood. Worked along side me, to
those who acted
like Allies...the demographics don't
lie. To those especially
asking me to accept and unify so that
they don't feel uncomfortable
about the role they played in
downplaying how dangerous Trump
is and will be for our entire country.
But most especially those of
us he deemed unworthy of his vision of
a “Great America...”
I guess to you its okay, you're not the
targets, you're not
the wrong ethnicity, wrong orientation,
wrong religion.
No this government tells you you're
“Right” all the damn time
they based their platforms off giving
you a social bubble
so they can actively hold the rest of
us down, vilify us.
Lock us up for revenue, and fuck over
our children.
I have been socially aware for many
years now,
I try hard to fight the good fight.
Because I thought I knew
who my true enemies are. But after
election 2016 I realized
you all hid in plain sight. You all
worried about making
shit great for you, and gave the rest
of us a big middle finger.
I shouldn't be surprised, look at how
some former friends
react when a young black child is shot.
When that idiot woman
who refused to do her job filling out
marriage certificates for
gay couples. How many of them chimed in
with their fragile
responses of “the cops were just
doing their job” “stand your
ground.” “Gay people shouldn't try
to push their stuff onto us.”
These same fuckers are now trying to
call for us to unify...
Under a president elect who is openly
bigoted and racist?
Under his VP who is anti LGBT and
passed sadistically
cruel legislation against Women's
rights? You want all
of us who have put up with a year of
Trump mocking
shunning or out right scapegoating us
to sing Kumbaya
and act like shit is going to be okay?
Hell to the No!
I will repeat myself
HELL TO THE NO!
NO I will not unify!
NO I will not act happy its over!
NO I do not feel any fucking hope
whatsoever!
As this fucking circus starts we are
facing Sarah Palin
Rudy Guilliani, Joe Arpacio and a whole
host of
fuckery in positions of power that will
be a detriment
to many American citizens. You know the
ones you
already felt made your America not so
great...
We are facing the reality of a return
of stop and frisk,
profiling on a national level. Of
climate change denial
so strong that even a fucking Tsunami
in the middle of
Times Square won't shake these
numbskulls who deny it.
Women will have to worry about our
bodies being literally
govern to the point where making our
own decisions are done for.
Gays may expect a repeal of their
marriage equality.
Muslims are facing being marked by
badges if not tattoos
Mexicans legal and other wise face
violence and deportation
along with many of us who are deemed
unworthy by this new
administration.
So if you come at me in the next few
days asking me to unify,
to accept this shit show we are going
to have to swallow
whether we want to or not. I am going
to give you a hearty
fuck you and get the fuck out of my
face. I am not about to lay
in bed with a bunch of people who hate
me, just so you can feel
comfortable.
More thoughts to come...

The Social Aware Nightmare Cast: Episode 5- Protests of Injustice is American
Hello just uploaded episode 5 of the Social Aware Nightmare podcast. In this episode I talk about the recent unarmed shootings of Terrence Cutter, Keith Scott and how people are way too focus on the protests and not the cause of said protests. I find it sad that when we peacefully protests like Mr. Kaepernick we are told to leave our country. When we take to the streets in anger we are dehumanized as "animals." Well folks when you have law enforcement trained to view us as such and kill us even without weapons. Anger is the response you get. Especially since Police have proved time after time with the likes of Dylan Roof, James Holmes, Austin Harouff and the recent bomber of NY and NJ that they can apprehend dangerous armed men and bring them into justice. Point blank the message is, if you don't see the issue you are a part of it...

The Social Aware Nightmare Cast: Episode 4- If you Are not apart of the solution.
Welcome to the next addition to the Social Aware Nightmare Cast, in this episode I talk about one of the biggest factors in the tight hold on racism. And its not the people who most think are the obvious answer. Lets face it, passive people who allow racism to go unchecked, or even worse think those who face discrimination should just silently hope it goes away are just as bad as those who are (somewhat) bold about their bigotry. And yeah I talk about those yahoos to, anonymous keyboard warriors who spout hate and talks of genocide. I get frank about politics, privilege and discuss society parallels such as calling a 32 year old Ryan Lochte a "kid" versus the recent murder of 13 year old Tyre King. So please tune in and enjoy.

The Social Aware Nightmare Podcast: Episode three: The Status Quo
Hello and welcome to another Friday podcast for the Social Aware Nightmare. In this cast I discuss the status quo. And how being one of "the good ones." Is no longer a valid excuse to turn a blind eye to racism and bigotry. I also discuss how humans need to let go of the need to fear and create enemies where there are none. And I touch up on how Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek was a vision that humanity should embrace.

Serious thoughts: The seduction of negative against acts of good
Society needs to stop highlighting the negative and shine a light on the positive.
Today after my morning social media
jaunt, I found myself truly thinking about the way society has
slanted. While I do my part to fight against discrimination in many
forms, I realized a trend of socially acceptable attacks on people
trying to do good. In recent times we have seen stories of acts of
good involved with negative, from the ninety year old veteran who was
arrested in Florida for feeding the homeless. To the Pennsylvanian woman who was fined six hundred dollars for feeding needy children
without a permit, or the Idaho cafeteria manager that was fired for
given needy children free food. I noticed a serious trend in our
society allowing acts of good and kindness to be penalized and or
made out to be criminal acts. Now fortunately for the Veteran who
said he will continue to help no matter what the homeless law against
feeding says, and the Idaho manager being offered a job in the school
district back, we do see that sometimes positive wins out.
It is time to question why helping others is viewed so negative as of late
But it needs to be questioned why we
allow laws against helping others? Why is it bureaucratically okay to
penalize people for trying to help others? Why is society allowing
this to be acceptable in any form? America likes to brag about being
a nation with many Christians. It should be a leading force in acts
to help the needy, shelter and feed the homeless and lift on and
other up from the bottom. Yet we are more known globally for our high
incarceration record, then our acts of actual charity and that is
very troubling. I think about the things I do on a personal level,
my child's school holds weekend food and clothing drives. I try each
month to give something whether its time, money or items that we no
long use. But is it enough?
I know how fortunate I am, every night
I lay in a clean bed, my stomach full from a good meal. My child has
clean clothes, goes to a great school, we have proper shelter and
live well. But there are many fellow American's that do not have
this, and while some will say things like “what have they done to
earn it?” I say its not my place to even think like this, for me I
don't care what a families situation is, if their kids need food I
want to feed them. If I have clothing I cannot/do not use I want
someone to make use of them. I think as I get older and realize how
much junk I held on to that I never intend to use or bother with that
could help others who would use it. I started to really stream line
and align my whole life better. I know I can't give monetarily all
the time, but as long as I have something be it time or items I give.
Attacking a charity should never be considered an acceptable norm
The latest recipients of negative
attacks for doing good is The Clinton Foundation. The charity itself
has come under intense scrutiny due to Hillary Clinton's bid for
president. Even though the charity itself has an A+ rating and is one
hundred percent transparent even more so than leading charities such
as the Red Cross. The negative coverage and allegations of “alleged
pay for play” has dogged the foundation. So far the only thing that
has been uncovered is just how much the Clinton Foundation has helped
several sick and needy people. Spending millions in donations towards
Aids medicine for the sick in places like Africa. So for those who
nay say, or wish to believe in a conspiracy that the Clinton's have
used funds anywhere else, facts are proving that those conspiracies
are nothing but Myths. It truly makes me question why people are so
eager to believe the bad before the good though? Have we really
fallen so far that we are more enticed by negative stories and
doubtful of the true good? I feel as if every day I am waking up to a
wall tilting on a balance between hopeful progress and falling into
the lowest pit of harm and despair. All I can do is keep my eyes
open, my mind and heart focus and hope with all my soul that the
people who continue to strive for good wont give up. And do my part
as well to shine good in a more positive light.
Here are a few links to charities in my state to help needy families:
You can also do your part by using google or seeing if your school/church or social clubs host such events. Every one can help in small ways and make being good a positive thing again.

The Social Aware Nightmare Cast: Episode 2 The Stigmas of Stereotypes.
I decided to record episode 2 tonight after being fired up by the assinine speech given by Donald Trump in Arizona tonight. I wanted to express my views on how stereotypes have become a socially acceptable norm in society. One that allows us to lump people into negative tropes instead of seeing them as fellow equal human beings. I talk about people who use faith as a weapon, to people who use gender and transgender bias. I thank all of those who have been tuning into my show and blog and look forward to hearing feed back as I continue my strikes against hatred and intolerance in all forms.
